Forest Hills School We Build Inclusion, Capacity, and Learning Communities May 8th, 2015 This is a message from Mrs. Savoie, principal at Forest Hills School. Our Middle School Drama Production, “Adventures of a Comic Book Artist,” will be next Monday and Tuesday the 11th and 12th at 7PM.  Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for students of any school.  Tickets are on sale at the office and can be purchased that evening.  Our students, staff and parent volunteers have been hard at work and the show is going to be great!  We hope to see you there! Don’t forget to continue fundraising for Jump Rope for Heart.  Our event is Wednesday the 13th and there is a Superhero theme.  Also, all funds raised are due to the school by Friday the 15th. Tryouts for Elementary and Middle Level track and field will begin next week.  Come on out and show us your stuff! We’d also ask families to mark June 3rd on your calendars as we will be hosting our second annual FHS Night of the Arts.  There will be performances form Hillsong, Dance Club, The Middle School Band, the Teacher band “Prep Tones”, art exhibits, and much more.  The night begins at 6:30 and we hope to see you there.  There is no charge, but donations to our Music Program are always welcome. FHS will be participating in the Marsh Creek Clean Up again this year and we’re looking for volunteers to join us.  It is on Saturday, May 23rd and details are on the website.  If you are interested in joining us, please let Mrs. Brown know.  We’ve won most garbage collected for the last 2 years in a row, so come and help us protect our rep! Just a reminder to the parents of our current Kindergarten students.  K student will be staying home on Thursday, May 14th as we will be having a transition day for our future K students. Remember Falcons, be respectful, be responsible, and be safe! Have a nice weekend, Melissa Savoie Principal Forest Hills School We Build Inclusion, Capacity, and Learning Communities Forest Hills School students will become successful, productive citizens fulfilling their passions in life as part of an ever-changing world.
