Forest Hills School We Build Inclusion, Capacity, and Learning Communities February 6th, 2015 This is a message from Mrs. Savoie, principal at Forest Hills School. Fitness Month- We hope that students are completing the activities found on their fitness calendar with their families. If your child has lost a copy of their calendar, please go to the Forest Hills website and look under faculty to find Miss Parsons' website to download a copy. We will also be hosting our Family Fitness Night on Tuesday, February 24th form 6:30-8. Hopefully the weather will cooperate with us this time! It is a great night every year, and we hope you and your families can attend! Basketball Jamboree- Just a reminder to Gr. 3-5 students that the basketball jamboree has been rescheduled until Thursday, Feb. 12. A copy of the schedule was sent home but can also be found on Miss Parsons' website. Parents are reminded that pick-up must occur by 5 p.m. Sliding- Due to the storm days and cold weather, many K-5 classes were unable to go sliding. Therefore, we will try again next week. Please make sure your child has their helmet with them on Monday and Tuesday. Other upcoming dates: -Next week in Internet Safety week, with Tuesday being Internet safety day. We will have different lessons and activities running in the school. -Our grades 3-8 Heritage Fair will be held on Thursday the 12th. -Friday the 13th is a Professional Learning day for staff, so there will be no school for students. -Grade 6FI parent information session at Bayside Middle School, Feb. 24th (6:30) -Wed, Feb 25th is both pink shirt day (for anti-bullying) and our MS Dance (6-8) Remember Falcons, be respectful, be responsible, and be safe!
