This is a message from Mrs. Savoie, principal at Forest Hills School.
K-5 students- Weather permitting, students will be going sliding in Phys. Ed. next week. Please send your child to school with a CSA approved helmet, snow pants, mitts and a hat each
day they have Phys. Ed. Only those with helmets will be permitted to go sliding but all students will be going outside playing so please ensure they are prepared. The school will provide sleds.
Family Phys. Ed. Night- There was an error on the February Fitness calendar. Our Family Phys. Ed. Night will be on Tuesday, Feb. 3 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. If school is cancelled the Phys. Ed. night will occur at the same time on Wednesday. Also, our Fitness Calendar
starts on Sunday so we hope you and your family participate in one activity each day.
Please make sure to send your children in snow pants because we do go outside as must as possible. A spare set of clothes, mitts, hats, etc., would be helpful as many come inside wet.
Hillsong, our performing arts group, is doing a fundraiser to sing O’Canada at the Sea Dogs game February 22. They are selling Flex tickets for $15 – good for any game until the end
of the regular season. If you would like to support them please purchase a ticket from any Hillsong member or the office. Members are reminded to bring back their SeaDog Ticket Order Forms. They are due with payment by February 6.
