Forest Hills School We Build Inclusion, Capacity, and Learning Communities September 26th, 2014 This is a message from Mrs. Savoie, principal at Forest Hills School. Thank you to the many families and staff who came out to support FHS in Ford’s Drive One event. By far, FHS had the best representation! Great jobJ Thanks to all of our students and parents who participated in the Saint John Medical Society fitness challenge in the spring of last year. Students tracked their physical activity minutes on a daily basis and we were just informed that we won in both the elementary and middle school categories. The Saint John Medical Society provided us with $800 for our efforts which will be used towards improving physical education for our students. Today students in grades 3-8 were given ballots to win a ticket to the October 1st Sea Dogs game. Transportation is provided. Details are on the ballots which are due Monday September 29 at 9:00. Good luck to those who submit their names. We will attend more games throughout the year. Miss Parsons (Elementary Physical Education Specialist) has a new website with information about Phys. Ed. and Extra-Curricular activities. Her link is: missparsonsphysed.weebly.com Take a minute to check it out! Kindergarten Registration for the 2015-2016 will be held October 14 to 17, 2014 at all of the elementary schools of Anglophone South School District. Attendance is compulsory for children who turn five years of age on or before December 31st of 2015 though entry may be deferred for one year for those children who turn five between September 1st and December 31st of 2015.
