Good afternoon Bayview families,
I hope that you have all enjoyed a relaxing summer. I understand
that many of you have questions about what school will look like this year. You
should have already received an email from ASD-S with information pertaining to
this coming school year and the protocols that the District has implemented. These
are constantly evolving depending on the number of cases in our area.
As you are aware our students will return to school the week of
September 6th. Our
entire student population
will
return to school following a
staggered entry
format with
half
of each class attending on Tuesday, September 7th
and
half
of each class on Wednesday, September 8th.
All
students will return together on Thursday September 9th.
Please ensure that your child(ren) attend their designated return
day as indicated below. This is important as this format will allow teachers to
work on safety protocols and will help students become more comfortable with
new routines and procedures.
*Remember this is for every student*
Students whose last names begin with
A-M
will
come on
Tuesday, September 7th
.
Students whose last names begin with
N-Z
will
come on
Wednesday, September 8th
.
All students
will come together for
the first time on
Thursday, September 9th
and every
day after.
Students may
begin arriving after 8:00 am
as that
is when supervision begins.
All students
come directly into the school wearing masks
until
they get inside their classroom.
Students in
Grade K to 1
MUST
enter
through the
main front entrance door.
Students in
Grades 2-5
MUST
enter
through the
front door with the railing
(the former bus line
door)
Parents can
drop children off in the lower parking lot
and
then please continue to drive out. This is a
“drop and go”.
If you
are planning to walk your child to the door, then park elsewhere and NOT park
in the drop and go area.
No cars
will be permitted to drive through the top area by the front
doors. Safety for your children is priority.
No parents
will be permitted into
the building with their child. Staff will be outside to answer questions.
