Here are your morning announcements for Friday January 27th, 2023.
*The announcements posted today reflect those which were read this morning. Please be aware that changes could occur during the day (cancellations, etc.) and we might not be able to amend them.
First Half- Red, Orange, Black and White classrooms will report to cafeteria during the first half of lunch. The grade level groups from blue, purple, yellow and green teams will report to target locations using the Courtenay Bay Doors.
Second Half- Blue, Purple, yellow and green will report to cafeteria and grade level groups from Red, Orange, Black and white will be in their assigned areas using the back doors near the gym.
Target Locations: This week the grade 8 groups will report to the field grade 6 groups will report to the gym and grade 7 groups will report to the Courtyard.
Rotation Flow Chart: Gym --> Courtyard --> Field --> Gym
Reminders:
Our grade 6 classes will be eating in their homerooms during their designated eating time this week. Staff, please follow the duty rotation sent out.
Important Info:
Clubs & Activities: Only announce today and tomorrow’s clubs
Monday
Dungeons & Dragons Club: We will meet on Mondays in Mrs. Sabin’s room 230. Don’t forget to bring your lunch
There will be a new club in the Computer lab at lunch for students interested in Animation!
Band – Trumpets
Tuesday
Activities Club – Cancelled Tuesday. See you next week.
Culture Club: No culture club this week as the grade 6 classes are eating in their homerooms.
Sports Club: in Mr. Walls classroom today at lunch during both halves.
Yearbook – Room 325
Band – Flutes, Clarinets, Saxes, Baritone and Basses
Wednesday
3D Print Club – In room 218 at lunch. Bring your lunch and stay for the hour.
Renaissance Team: Will be meeting Wednesday the second half of lunch in room 130. All staff and students interested in supporting the culture and climate at Bayside can attend.
Art Club – All lunch, bring your lunch!
Choir – At lunch in the music room. New members welcome!
Band – Full Band Rehearsal after school
Thursday
GSA –Since it is the first Thursday of the month, this week’e meeting will be social time. All are welcome!

Woodworking Club
Friday
Drama Club: No drama club this week as the grade 6’s are eating in their classrooms.
Tech Crew – Cancelled for today.
The computer lab will be open

BAYSIDE ATHLETICS:
Cheerleading: Practice Thursday after school from 3-5:30 and Friday after school from 3-5.
Basketball:
Girls: The girls played a great game Wednesday against Sam de Cham. Next game is Monday at MNS.
Varsity boys: Practice Monday has been cancelled. Home game Tuesday against MNS.
JV Boys: Practice Monday 3:00-4:30 in the gym.
See Ms. Hills on Monday after school to get your uniform in the gym.
Yearbook Photos:
At 8:30, with permission, could the of the soccer and ultimate frisbee teams please go to the auditorium.
At 9:00 with permission, could the memebers of the basketball and badminton teams please go to the auditorium.
The cheerleading team will have a group photo taken next week during practice when uniforms have been handed out. NO CHEERLEADERS need to be in the auditorium today block A.
Recycling:
Bayside’s recycling program is back up and running so please leave your recyclables on top of a locker or in one of the blue bins in the cafeteria.
Lost & Found:
Please check the lost and found before the end of this week for your lost, lonely items.
