Here are your morning announcements for Tuesday January 17th, 2023.
*The announcements posted today reflect those which were read this morning. Please be aware that changes could occur during the day (cancellations, etc.) and we might not be able to amend them.
First Half- Red, Orange, Black and White classrooms will report to cafeteria during the first half of lunch. The grade level groups from blue, purple, yellow and green teams will report to target locations using the Courtenay Bay Doors.
Second Half- Blue, Purple, yellow and green will report to cafeteria and grade level groups from Red, Orange, Black and white will be in their assigned areas using the back doors near the gym.
Target Locations: This week the grade 8 groups will report to the Courtyard, grade 6 groups will report to the field and grade 7 groups will report to the gym
Rotation Flow Chart: Gym --> Courtyard --> Field --> Gym
Reminders:
Our grade 7 classes will be eating in their homerooms during their designated eating time this week. Staff, please follow the duty rotation sent out.
Important Info:
Clubs & Activities: Only announce today and tomorrow’s clubs
Monday
Dungeons & Dragons Club: We will meet on Mondays in Mrs. Sabin’s room 230. Don’t forget to bring your lunch.
Arabic Club – Cancelled today
Band – Trumpets
Tuesday
Activities Club – Restarting Tuesday January 17th
Culture Club: Mrs. Welch’s class room 232. Don’t forget to bring your lunch.
Sports Club: in Mr. Walls classroom today at lunch during both halves.

Band – Flutes, Clarinets, Saxes, Baritone and Basses
Wednesday
3D Print Club – There is no 3D print club this week
Renaissance Team: Will be meeting Wednesday the second half of lunch in room 130. All staff and students interested in supporting the culture and climate at Bayside can attend.
Art Club – All lunch, bring your lunch!
Choir – At lunch in the music room. New members welcome!
Band – Full Band Rehearsal after school
Thursday
GSA – meets at lunch in the auditorium. All are welcome!

Additional Activity Notices:
YEARBOOK: The Yearbook Committee meets in room 325 at lunch on TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS each week. Bring your lunch and stay for the hour.
BAYSIDE ATHLETICS:
Cheerleading: Practice Thursday after school from 3-5:30 and Friday after school from 3-5.
Basketball:
Girls: Game at PES Wednesday.
(Girls’ Basketball Team): See Ms. Hills tomorrow (Wednesday) at 8:10 to get your jersey.
Varsity boys: practice today, Tuesday, from 4:30-6. Home game against PES on Thursday.
Grade 6/7 JV Boys Tryout is today from 3:00-4:30pm in the gym. Any questions, please see Mr. Carpenter or Mr. Walls. THIS IS THE ONLY TRYOUT!

Recycling:
Bayside’s recycling program is back up and running so please leave your recyclables on top of a locker or in one of the blue bins in the cafeteria.
Lost & Found:
Please check the lost and found before the end of this week for your lost, lonely items.
Renaissance Item of the day: Only announce the corresponding day
Tuesday : Renaissance “guess who”: No one was able to identify Ms. Marr as last week’s guess who. This week, we have someone whose walls were covered from top to bottom in posters of the Jonas Brothers when they were in middle school.
