Here are your morning announcements for Wednesday December 21st, 2022.   






Target Locations: This week the grade 8 groups will report to the field, grade 6 groups will report to the gym and grade 7 groups will report to the courtyard.   






Rotation Flow Chart: Gym --> Courtyard --> Field --> Gym 






Reminders: 


Our grade 6 classes will be eating in their homerooms during their designated eating time this week.  Staff, please follow the duty rotation sent out. 






Important Info:  






Holiday Fun Week Daily Activities: 


Whoville Wednesday-Dress like the Grinch or a Whoville character, Gingerbread building in classrooms We provide the Graham crackers and frosting, students BYO Candy for decorate. 


Tacky Thursday- Wear your favorite holiday sweater.  Staffaulty/ Student Dodgeball event in the afternoon 


Festive Friday- Dress like a Christmas tree-Fun Day with student activities all morning.   


Clubs & Activities: Only announce today and tomorrow’s clubs  





 

Wednesday 

 

3D Print Club – There is no 3D print club this week 


Manga Club: meet in Mrs. Shannon’s room (314) at lunch  


Renaissance Team: Will be meeting Wednesday at lunch in room 130. All staff and students interested in supporting the culture and climate at Bayside can attend.  Bring your lunch and stay for the hour.  


 

Art Club – cancelled today, see you after the break!  


Yearbook :  

 

Thursday 

 

GSA – meets at lunch in the auditorium. All are welcome!  


 

Yearbook Committee:   There is no yearbook today as Ms. Bailey is absent 


 
 

Friday

BEGINNER BAND and Choir –   All rehearsals this week are cancelled. We will start again in January!  






BAYSIDE ATHLETICS: 



Basketball: 


Basketball tryouts continue this week! Girls tryouts are today after school from 3-4:30. The boy’s second cut will be posted by the gym after block A today. If your name is on the list, the final tryout is today from 4:30-6. 






Recycling:  Bayside’s recycling program is back up and running so please leave your recyclables on top of a locker or in one of the blue bins in the cafeteria.  






Lost & Found:  


Please check the lost and found before the end of this week for your lost, lonely items. 






Renaissance Item of the day:






Wednesday: Fun fact of the week: Did you know that not all Christians celebrate Christmas on the same day? Orthodox Christians, who tend to be Eastern European or of Eastern European descent, celebrate Christmas on January 7th.
