Here are your morning announcements for Thursday December 13th, 2022.
*The announcements posted today reflect those which were read this morning. Please be aware that changes could occur during the day (cancellations, etc.) and we might not be able to amend them.
First Half- Red, Orange, Yellow, and Green classrooms will report to cafeteria during the first half of lunch. The grade level groups from blue, purple, black and white teams will report to target locations using the Courtenay Bay Doors.
Second Half- Blue, Purple, Black, and White will report to cafeteria and grade level groups from Red, Orange, Yellow, and Green will be in their assigned areas using the back doors near the gym.
Target Locations: This week the grade 8 groups will report to the courtyard, grade 6 groups will report to the field and grade 7 groups will report to the gym.
Rotation Flow Chart: Gym --> Courtyard --> Field --> Gym
Reminders:
Our grade 7 classes will be eating in their homerooms during their designated eating time this week. Staff, please follow the duty rotation sent out.
Dance ticket sales are now closed, and no tickets will be sold at the door. Students will receive their wrist bands for access to the dance this afternoon.

Dungeons & Dragons Club: cancelled this week
Arabic Club – Cancelled today
Band - Trumpet Sectional
Tuesday
Activities Club – Board Game Club is now Activities Club. Come play board games, read, draw, colour, or speak to Mr. Swain about any other activity you are interested in. Meet in room 237 and bring your lunch.
Culture Club: Come to Mrs. Welch’s room to learn about a new culture! Bring your lunch to room 232!
Band- Flutes, Clarinets, Saxophones, Basses and Baritone
Sports Club: Is postponed this week as Mr. Walls is out sick, come to room 309 next week on tuesday 20th at lunch.
Wednesday
Choir –Meet in the music room at lunch. New members welcome
3D Print Club – There is no 3D print club this week
Manga Club: cancelled this week
Renaissance Team: Will be meeting Wednesday at lunch in room 130. All staff and students interested in supporting the culture and climate at Bayside can attend. Bring your lunch and stay for the hour.
BAND – Practice after school
Art Club - The list of students selected for the art club will be posted on Monday by lunch outside of the art room. Art club will take place Wednesday’s, in the art room, bring your lunch.
Yearbook :
Thursday
GSA – meets at lunch in the auditorium. All are welcome!
BAND- Percussion sectional
Yearbook Committee: There is no yearbook today as Ms. Bailey is absent
Friday
Art/Comics club will be in room 114. Sign-up sheet posted outside of room. (No school next two Fridays)
Drama Club: come to Mme. Creamer’s room Friday at lunch to participate in some acting activities. Bring your lunch and stay for the hour. All are welcome!
Tech Crew – No Tech Crew this week

CHOIR
This evening is our night with Mike Biggar and Friends at the Imperial Theater! Meet at the stage door at the Back of the Imperial no later than 6:10pm.. Our sound check starts promptly at 6:15.
Broncos Give Back...
For December, our Bronco Community is encouraged to bring in items for the River Stone Recovery Center. All items need to be in by Dec. 15th
Candygrams: GSA will be selling candygrams each morning outside the auditorium. For $1, you can send your friend a delicious and inclusive holiday wish. If you don’t make it in the morning, drop by to see Mrs. Shannon at break
