Here are your morning announcements for March 23rd ,2022.   


*The announcements posted today reflect those which were read this morning. Please be aware that changes could occur during the day (cancellations, etc.) and we might not be able to amend them.  






First Half- Red, Orange, Yellow, and Green classrooms will report to homerooms during the first half of lunch. The grade level groups from blue, purple, black and white teams will report to target locations using the Courtenay Bay Doors   


Second Half- Blue, Purple, Black, and White will report to their homerooms and grade level groups from Red, Orange, Yellow, and Green will be in their assigned areas using the back doors near the gym. 


Target Locations: This week the grade 8 groups will report to the gym, grade 6 groups will report to the compound and grade 7 groups will report to paved area by Courtenay Avenue.

With the arrival of nice weather, a reminder that classes should not be on the Courtney ave driveway or in the courtyard during the instructional day as this is disruptive to the classrooms located in those areas. Teachers are welcome to take classes to the back driveway, field or the front yard for outside activities.   


 

 

GSA:  


GSA will meet today at lunch in the auditorium. Bring your coloured pencils or markers today. Everyone is welcome to join. We eat first half and meet second half, so bring your lunch.  


 

Youth Group: 


Youth Group-meets again next Tuesday at lunch. 


 

Maker Club 


Maker Club, meets again on March 30th  from 3-4:30.  Drives must be here by 4:30!! Please sign up in room 218 as we are limited to 20 participants.   





BAYSIDE ATHLETICS  






Volleyball – 


Jv and Varsity boys practice from 3-530 today 






JV and Varsity girls practice Thursday from 3-5 pm  


Ensure drives are on time after practice.  


All volleyball members can practice in the gym each morning from 750-815 to work on their skills  






Water for sale in the gym (only after PE) $1 






Run Club: it was wonderful seeing old and new faces last week, all who wish my join us for some swaggy running next Friday 3:15 - 4:15  we will meet at the gym, be prepared to go outside. 






Cheerleading- Practice Thursday from 3-5 and Friday from 9-3! 


Thanks to all the Grade 6s who participated in the French Oral Assessments. There will be a pizza party for you tomorrow at 11:30 in the cafeteria.
