Hello Raider Families! I hope everyone had a chance to spend some quality time together over the March Break. Spring is in the air and we can’t wait to get our students back outside to take advantage of our amazing campus.

I have a few reminders and an updated list of important dates:

·     ASAP # 4 is attached and posted on our website.

·     The District has asked us to remind all families that attendance at school is required for all students. Research shows that good attendance is one of the most essential elements for success at school. Schools must follow up on absences (excused or unexcused) exceeding 10 days. If your child has missed time, you may receive a letter from the office and/or a call from a teacher.

·     If your child is going to be absent, please logon to the School Messenger (found on the main page of our website) and enter the absence. If an absence is entered by the family, you will not receive those annoying morning calls telling you that your child is absent.

·     Report Cards go home on April 1^st (really not a jokeJ). Parent/Teacher meetings will be on Thursday, April 4^th from 5-8 pm and on the morning of Friday, April 5^th from 8:30-10:30. Please note this move to morning appointments as directed by ASD-S. We will begin taking requests for appointments on Thursday, March 28^th at 8:30 am.

·     Please make sure to register to use our Cashless Schools system. This system is for all payments for trips, sports, yearbooks, Cabaret etc. Currently about 80% of our families are registered. The link can be found on our website. Yearbooks will go on sale in April.

·     We have a growing mound of Lost and Found Items and we will have those items on display for P/T. If your child is missing boots, coats, hoodies, shoes, hats, mittens, water bottles, gym clothes etc., please encourage them to check the Lost & Found.

·     There is no school for students next Friday, March 22^nd.
