Good afternoon Gr. 8 Raider Families!
You will find attached, and on our website, preliminary information about the Gr. 8 Quebec Trip in June 2019.
We also have a parent information session scheduled here at RVMS next Wednesday, October 24th at 6:00 pm in our Theatre if you have any further questions about the trip.
As you know, the school district has introduced a new “cashless schools” payment system and all payments for the Quebec trip will be made online this year. Payment information will be available online beginning November 1, 2018.
Please make sure that you have registered for your child on the “Cashless Schools” website. This can be found by going to our school website, rvms.nbed.nb.ca and selecting “Make A Payment” in the navigation bar near the top of the page. To register you will need your child’s name, birthdate and the  e-mail address you have associated with their school information (likely the same e-mail address at which you are receiving this communication).
You may choose two options for Quebec. You may pay in full, in which case you would select the “Quebec Trip – Full Payment” option or, to pay in installments please select the “Quebec Trip – Installment Plan – Deposit – November” option.  Again, these options will not appear until November 1, 2018.
More detailed information about the trip daily itinerary, packing suggestions etc., will be available in April/May 2019.
***Please note that “Cashless Schools” may also show that you still owe your child’s student fee. If you have already paid that fee, disregard this as we were still accepting cash payments in September and, if you paid by cash or cheque, it will not show up in the “cashless schools” system.
