School Strength #1:

High level of student engagement through participation in school clubs, groups, activities, extra-curriculars, and sports teams.

Evidence & Rationale for Strength #1:

58% of RVMS students were reported to have high levels of participation compared to 38% across the District.
79% of RVMS students attended the optional After School Activity Period.

School Strength #2:

Staff that works together and creates a positive working and learning environment.

Evidence & Rationale for Strength #2:

Teacher perception survey results indicated that staff have a common mission, vision and goal. Staff indicated there is a positive school environment and that collaboration and staff interaction levels are high.

Staff surveys indicate teachers are struggling with time management, connecting with students, and continuous monitoring of student progress under perceived time restraints.

Activities to identify what items exactly teachers are struggling with.
