​Congratulations to Lewie Kernighan who was selected as Simonds High School student of the week for the week of December 9th-13th, 2019. Lewie is not only the Co-President of our Student Council but is also the President of the Provincial Student Council. This role required him to introduce the Lieutenant Governor, make numerous speeches and run the Student Annual General Meeting. He impressed everyone at the conference with his ability to speak confidently in front of his peers. In the spring, Lewie will attend a meeting with the Minister of Education in Fredericton where he will be a voice for the students of Simonds, the district and the province.  Simonds Pride Continues with Lewie Kernighan!
