Emergency Evacuation Drill

We have practiced our fire drill and lockdown procedures in the past few weeks.  The next part of our emergency plan we will practice is our evacuation procedure.  Our evacuation location is the Lord Beaverbrook Rink.  On Thursday, October 17th we will be practicing this drill.  Our students and staff will walk to the LBR during the late-morning.  There will be bussing provided for students with special needs including those who may have temporary mobility issues.

The Rain Date for this drill is October 21.

Musical

Our annual fall musical production is quickly approaching.  Into The Woods will be performed this Thursday – Saturday, October 10 – 12, 7:30pm.  Tickets are $17 each and are available for purchase through hvhs.eventbrite.ca

Photo Retakes

Retakes for students who require them will take place on Friday, October 18.  Proofs and order forms for the initial photographs arrived at the school today and should be coming home in the next couple of days.

Photos of school events

Do you attend your child's sporting events? The HVHS yearbook and school paper is always looking for good quality team and action shots of our sports teams. If you are willing to share original photos (not copied from Facebook or other social media) we'd sure love to have them.

You can email original pics to:

christie.mcdonald@nbed.nb.ca

OR

have your child bring them to school on a flash drive and deliver it to Ms. McDonald in Room 307. I will be sure to return the flash drive to your child.
