Summer contact for our Sexual Health Nurse Practitioner

​Michelle Daniels, our Sexual Health Nurse Practitioner remains available to students over the summer break. You can contact her at 1-888-829-6444 or email her at michelle.daniels@gnb.ca or drop by Public Health Office in Bicentennial Building 200 King Street, Woodstock, Suite 145 (across from Service New Brunswick). Arrangements can be made to meet at Perth-Andover Public Health Office on Tribe Road as well. She will return to school visits in the Fall.

Scholarship Update

​All local scholarship application forms (green forms) and the Bell Bursary applications need to be handed in to Mrs. Freake, our Guidance Counselor, as soon as possible.

All graduation fees need to be paid by June 5/15.
April 23
More updates from the grad meeting April 23:
  • ​Suggestions for the class song at graduation will be posted on Facebook. Students will be able to vote on-line.Results will be shared.
  • Safe Grad organizers are looking for designs for the Safe Grad T-Shirt (which every participating grad gets at that event). Please send/give ideas to Mrs. McKinley to be shared and voted on.

 

  • Graduation dates and fees:
  1. Graduation Banquet (for Grads and Teachers) will be May 25 = $15 per person
  2. Prom (Grads and dates) will be June 13 = $25 per Grad
  3. Graduation Ceremony will be Thursday, June 18 at 4:00 pm = $50 per Graduate
  4. Safe Grad will be June 18 (after Graduation) = $45 per Graduate (including T-Shirt)

Potential graduates only pay for the graduation events they are attending. All graduation $$$ go to our secretary, Ms. Hollins.

We encourage all students to check with homeroom teachers and the secretary/librarian for any items/fees owing on the delinquent list.

Updates from the Grad meeting this morning:
  • ​Measurements for graduation gowns should finish today.
  • Photos are needed for the slideshow at Graduation Banquet. Give pictures to Jenna, Olivia or Cheyanne.
  • Every potential grad was given a book of tickets to sell on a Mother's Day Basket (grad fund raiser), which will be drawn on MAy 10. Turn tickets and money in to Mrs. McKinley (room 224).
  • The Minion Auction (grad fund raiser) will be May 6th and follow up activities for that auction will be May 8th.
  • Bottle Drive (grad fund raiser) will be spread over the next 2 weeks. For everyone's convenience, we are trying a new approach. Bring bottles in throughout the next 2 weeks to the tunnel entrance. Bottles will be collected there and transported to the redemption center in 2 weeks.

Spring Fling Dance Tonight!

​The cost to get in is $5. The theme is "throwback", meaning wear an old semi formal dress or switch dresses/clothes with a friend. The doors open at 7:00 and the dance ends at 10:00 pm.

Students please remember that in order to be eligible to attend 3 things must be taken care of: any detentions are done, student fee for the year is paid and you attended all classes today.

​The Ladies Auxiliary Royal Canadian Legion Perth-Andover Branch No. 36 applications for scholarship are in. Check with our Guidance Couselor, Mrs. Freake for an application form.
