Week at a Glance April 12-19

Hello MAS Families. Well I think Spring is finally in the air!! As the days go from cold mornings to nice mild afternoons, please have a discussion with your child about proper dress for outdoor play, and what your expectations are for what they should be wearing outside. Many want to take off coats, hats, etc.

Please also keep in mind that our playground becomes very wet as the snow melts. It is best to keep a change of clothes in your child's backpack (socks, pants, etc).

Breakfast Program- Tuesday (April 16, 2019) - Breakfast will be bagels and fruit.  When the students arrive at school, if they wish to come have breakfast, please remind them to come in our grade 3-5 door. We will take off our boots, put our coats and book bags in classroom then head down to the gymnasium to enjoy breakfast together. When the bell rings and once students are finished, they will head up to class to start their day with full bellies.

Caluthumpians- Calithumpians will be visiting on Tuesday, April 16th to perform "Many Hands Make Life Work". The presentation shares stories about recycling, volunteering, and being a good citizen. They will also do a one hour workshop with our drama students after their performance.

NO SCHOOL- Reminder there is no school on Friday, April 19 and Monday, April 22.

Papa John’s Pizza- Please note that the 2 school closure days for missed Pizza orders on January 21 and February 25 will be compensated in the month of May.  Your child’s Pre-PAID orders will be noted and attached to the May Pizza form coming home on April 15 for your reference.
