Firstly, our Christmas Concert featuring the FMS Choir, FMS Band and Grade 6 Band is tomorrow, Wednesday at 7:30 here in the gym. Performers are asked to arrive at 7:00 dressed in black and white.  Donations at the door will collected to purchase additional instruments for our program.

 

Secondly, your child should be handing you a permission slip Tuesday evening which gives important details about our physical activity day on Thursday. All students will be traveling off property by school bus with their homeroom teacher to the AYR Motor Centre in Woodstock. There are no options for students to remain at FMS as all teachers are traveling off-site.   That means on Thursday when your child arrives, they are expected to have indoor shoes in hand to change into when they arrive in Woodstock. We ask that each brings $2 to help defray the cost of the day and we will be providing a lunch. They may wish to bring snacks. We are very pleased to be able to provide this day and celebrate the upcoming holidays with activities that we cannot provide within our school and look forward to our students being the best FALCONS they can be so that we might do this again in the spring. Please read the permission slip before signing it.

 

Wednesday  is a regular class day and the last day that cafeteria services will be provided. Thursday we are off site and Friday is a half day. Students should plan on bringing their own snacks for Thursday and Friday. We expect Friday buses to leave 3 hours before their regular scheduled time.
