Updates and Reminders from FMS

This is the content of today's School Connects message:

1. Badminton tryouts for students in Grade 6 will finish up tomorrow, Monday, from 3:00 - 4:30. This is only for students who have already attended one or both of the previous tryouts. These students are reminded to check family calendars and come tomorrow being able to commit to Zones on Tuesday, December 1st and Finals on Friday, December 11th. Badminton practice for the Grade 8 Team members is Wednesday and Grade 7 Team Members is Thursday from 3:15 to 4:30.

2. There will be an Open Gym for Grade 7 and 8 Boys interested in playing middle school basketball this week on Tuesday and Friday from 4:00 to 5:30.  Open Gym for Girls interested in middle school basketball will follow next week.
3. Students interested in Cheer at FMS are reminded of the first tryout this Tuesday from 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the cafeteria.
4. Report Cards go home Thursday of this week. Parent-Teacher meetings are taking place Thursday evening between 5:00 and 8:00 and Friday morning between 8:30 and 11:30.  You may call Kathy in the office to make appointments (392-5115).
5. This year's Woodstock High Musical is the Wizard of Oz. There will be performances this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:00pm as well as a 1:00 pm Saturday matinee. Tickets are on sale at the Woodstock High Office as well as Home Zone Electronics - $10 for children, students and seniors and $12 for adults.
6. Reserve two weeks from today! Sunday, November 29th, the movie theatre in Woodstock has been reserved for a fundraiser showing of Jingle all the Way at 4:00pm.  Proceeds from ticket sales are in support of Grade 8 FMS and BMS students traveling to Quebec City in June 2016. We appreciate your supporting this event by coming out to see the show and spreading the word so we can fill the theatre!
