First Day of School Updates

(This message came to your email or voice mail through School Connects if we have the correct phone/email on record).

We had a great first day and we are looking forward to tomorrow. A few things you should know are included in this message.

Firstly, most of you received a student information form today. Please take the time to verify what is printed and add or correct missing or wrong information. This is very important.  There is a new form this year which allows families to identify themselves if they have military personnel in the immediate family. If this does not apply to your family, you do not need to return that page. Simply return the long information sheet.

Secondly, thank you for your patience with the bussing changes.  It took a long time today to ensure that most students got home on the correct bus. I apologize in advance if there were a few glitches. We hope to sort those out in the coming days and by next week, I'm hopeful we will all be pleased with the new routine.

We have had an increase in registrations this year and will be hiring an additional teacher to form an eleventh homeroom. For this reason, your child in English may have a change in homeroom teacher. We hope to have the new lists settled by Friday and at that point, we will be able to start telling you with accuracy who each of your child's teachers will be. Thank you in advance for your patience as we work through this.

The Open House and PSSC elections are tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept 9th starting in our gym at 6:00 pm.  Hope to see you there!
