C-NCS has 82 student in grades 6-12 and in a recent OurSchool Survey students have told us that 24% of ML students and 32% of High School students have tried or are vaping daily. We are seeing students leave the property to vape, selling vape juice at school and students are vaping in our bathrooms. Last year we had 0% of students vaping at C-NCS. This is a dramatic and dangerous rise in student participating in this damaging behaviour.
We are hosting a call to action-information session for the community of Cambridge-Narrows on November 27th from 5:00-6:30. During this time we will have an information session provided by ASD-W Health Care workers and your dinner will be provided by our Culinary Tech students.
This meal and information session is free, all we ask is that you call the school to reserve a seat. Please bring your child, your family members and your friends.
