​PAMS news – Week of February 21, 2023

• Lunch order can be placed and paid for by visiting Perth Middle School - Chartwells K-12 Canada (chartwellsk12.ca).

• Order forms and money for the Mitchell soup fundraiser should be sent to school tomorrow on Tuesday. Thank you to everyone who supported this fundraiser.   

• Wednesday is Pink Shirt Day.  Several activities have been planned to celebrate the day and our ongoing efforts to provide a safe and inclusive learning environment for all. Please wear PINK on Wednesday.  Pink Shirt Day 2023 - Pink Shirt Day Canada

• There will be a presentation on Climate change on Thursday afternoon for all students.  Carl Duivenvoorden’s presentation covers:
  • The science of climate: how our planet’s natural systems work
  • The causes and impacts of climate change, including on NB
  • What’s needed to solve climate change

• February 24th is French Friday.  This month's French theme is maple syrup and maple teats. With the help from our friends at the Sugary Moon Cookhouse, students will sample taffy on the snow on Friday afternoon. 

• Popcorn will be sold at noon on Friday for $2 & cupcakes will be sold at break on Thursday for $1

Sports News 

Congratulations to the PAMS basketball teams who played hard this weekend in Basketball NB Provincial tournaments. The boys won their tournament and earned a banner for our gym. Go BEARS GO!
