Dear Families of Saint Mary’s Academy,

As of 11:59 p.m., Monday, May 10, 2021, the Edmundston Region will move to the Yellow Alert level. This is a welcomed change and is due in large part to communities working together to follow provincial Covid-19 guidelines.

Specific to Saint Mary’s Academy, this change in alert level has the biggest impact on mask use. Masks are no longer required for K-8 students when they are in their class grouping, and masks are not required in the classroom for grades 9-12 students if they can physically distance by 1 metre. In the attached Appendix A you will find the full details of mask use for both teachers and students during this alert level.
