Message from PSSC

Hello, Park Street Parents!

I hope all of you and your little ones have had a happy start to the school year in the “new normal”. I wanted to send a quick note to let you know that the Park Street Parent School Support Committee will soon begin our monthly meetings and we would love to add some new faces to the table.

The Parent School Support Committee is a committee made up of mainly parents in order to provide consultation and guidance to Park Street School’s administration. We provide guidance on policy issues respecting the school mission, the school’s learning climate, strategies for communication with parents and the community, and strategies for improving the quality of learning and teaching within the school.

We meet with the principal for an hour once a month (except December!) in the evening, and there are no special skills required--only a desire to share thoughts, ideas and opinions.

Our first meeting will be held in the next couple of weeks. If you have any questions or you’re interested in joining us, please reach out to the school so we can get in touch with you.

Wishing all of you a healthy and productive academic year,

Matt Stainforth

Chair, Park Street School PSSC
