Please note this important change to our ASD-W school calendar:

Dear Anglophone West School District Families,

Please note this important change to our ASD-W school calendar:

  • Grades K-8: The Professional Learning Day originally scheduled for February 1, 2021 has been rescheduled to Friday, October 30, 2020. Class for Grades K-8 will now be held on February 1, 2021.
  • Grades 9-12: The Professional Learning Day originally scheduled for March 19, 2021 has been rescheduled for Friday, October 30, 2020. Class for Grades 9-12 will now be held on March 19, 2021.
  • Please note: there will be no class for students in K-12 on October 30, 2020.

ASD-W has re-scheduled these two spring Professional Learning Days to this October in order to provide additional support to our educators in the areas of technology and learning from home.  Our teachers are working hard to ensure they, and their students, are ready to pivot to learning from home in the event of a class or school closure.  As some communities in other parts of the province have faced school closures due to the increased number of COVID-19 positive cases, ASD-W is committed to being prepared and to providing quality education in the classroom and virtually.

Please note...at this time, there are no ASD-W schools/communities that fall within zones that are in the Orange Phase.  We remain in the Yellow Phase, although there are enhanced mask practices in place for those who have traveled to areas of the province that are currently in the Orange Phase.
