Memo for Garden Creek Parents and Guardians
We are gearing up to meeting with all of you next week at our parent-teacher conferences. If you have not done so, please sign up on the doodle poll that was sent out by your child’s homeroom teacher.
Remembrance Day Ceremony – Thank you to our school community for a beautiful ceremony. Our students were so well behaved and respectful during this assembly. We were very proud of them as well as the work that students and staff did to prepare for this.
School Picture Retakes – this is taking place tomorrow, Wednesday!
Did you Know? We are soon going to go forward to being more eco-friendly in our school by asking that parents encourage their children to bring back home the contents of their lunch to reduce waste through recycling or composting ( if you do this at home) The Kindergarten class is trialing this now with success! We are also considering composting in our school with a local composter but this is still in the planning stages. Please help us with this environmental challenge by considering packaging that is sent to school.
Have An Extra Bench Lying Around?? We could use a bench for our upstairs hallway .If you have one you are not using and would like to contribute it to our school, we would gladly take it off your hands. Please contact the office.
CREEKER CHRISTMAS BAZAAR – Volunteers still needed – if you would like to help with the Bazaar on the day of, please let us know and we will slot you in.
- Baking pledges are due by the end of the week – YUM!!!!
- Santa’s Workshop Items are due as well.
