Hello MAS Families! It has been another very BUSY
fun week at MAS. Our Multi Age group finished up their project this week
with another visit to York Care. They gave the residents gifts and enjoyed
lunch together. Lots of smiles and laughter filled the room. This was a
wonderful project and we have begun to look into doing something
similar again next year.
Thank you to Ms. Bush for our Drama/Spring
concert. The students all did a wonderful job.
Reminders:
Grade 3-5 District Track and Field
Day- CONGRATULATIONS to all our track
and field participants today. They tried their very best and had lots of
fun. We are very proud of how well they represented MAS in the events and
waiting on the sidelines!
Breakfast Program- Tuesday (June 11th 2019) - Breakfast
will be bagels and fruit.
MAS Color Splash Dash- It is NOT too late to sign up. Come out tomorrow morning!
Registration and check in begins at 8:30am. Can't wait to see
everyone there, it is going to be a SPLASH!!
Green Hill Lake Camp- Our year end whole school field
trip to Green Hill Lake Camp will be this Monday, June 10th.
Be sure your child comes to school prepared for the trip- snack, lunch, water
bottle, bathing suite and towel, sunscreen, bug spray, and hat.
Grade 5 Evening- We will host our Grade 5 students back at school on Wednesday,
June 12th 5:30-8pm. They will enjoy dinner served by the
staff, dessert, and a movie.
Community Garden- We are in the process of building a community garden
and have lots inside ready to replant. We are still looking for families
that would be willing to volunteer a night or two over the summer to help tend
to the garden. If you are willing to help out or would like more info please
call Roxy in the office 453-5422.

Clusters.
Friday June 14- Tots N Taters hot lunch. Nasis Library visit.
Important Dates to year end-
June 18- Water Day- outside activities (May be moved to
June 21st weather depending)
June 19- Parent Cluster Showcase 11:15am and Family BBQ
June 20- Grade 5 Ceremony 10:30am. Kindergarten
Celebration 1pm
June 21- Last Day of School students- Full day.
