Hello MAS families! I want to
say a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to all our students for putting on two wonderful
Christmas concerts this past week. They did such a great job and we are all so
proud them. We have one week left before Christmas break with some extra
special activities happening throughout the week.
A few reminders:
Christmas Angel Tree- Thank you to our school community for being so kind and
generous during the holiday season. Every angel has been taken off the
tree. When you return
the gift, we ask that it come back wrapped
with the angel tree tag attached to the gift. Please have wrapped gifts back to
the school no later than December 20th.
Tots and Taters- Reminder there is NO hot lunch
orders this week on Tuesday and Friday. Please be sure to send a lunch with your
child if they normally order.
Santa's Little Helper- Back orders should be in early next
week. We will get them out to you as soon as they arrive.
Milk Forms- Reminder milk forms are due back on
Wednesday. This form gives milk buyers the option to change to chocolate
milk (no charge) and for those that DO NOT currently get milk to sign up.
We will begin ordering chocolate milk in January.
MAS Christmas Caroling- Reminder on Tuesday December 18th
we are inviting students and parents back to the school to spread some Christmas
cheer around the neighborhood. We will meet
here at 6pm and break into groups to go caroling. We will then
return to the school around 7pm for hot
chocolate and cookies. Feel free to wear a
Christmas hat.
MAS Clothing- Our clothing order has arrived. We
will be sending orders home on Monday. If the order is a gift, please be sure
your child's teacher knows.
Teacher Staff Update- As many of you know Mrs. Coes will be on
leave after Christmas. The teacher replacing Mrs. Coes is Mrs. Morine. She
will be here Monday for the day to meet the students and get to visit the
school. We would also like to Welcome Mr. Dolliver. He is now joining us on
Fridays for resource support and physical education. We are also happy to
announce that Mrs. Penny will be staying with us to the end of the school year.
This week:
Monday, Dec. 17- Pizza hot lunch. MAS clothing order
coming home.
Tuesday, Dec. 18- String Quartet visit. Christmas
Caroling 6pm.
Wednesday, Dec. 19- Christmas shopping spree. Milk forms due.
Thursday, Dec. 20 - Hot lunch Great Canadian
Bagel. Wear fun Christmas Clothing (sweaters, shirts, etc)
Friday, Dec. 21- Christmas PJ day. Come dressed in your
favorite Christmas jammies. Pancake breakfast for all. Multi-age
Christmas stations. Reminder this is the last day before Christmas
break and it is a full day.
