Hello MAS families! Hard to believe we have seen another month pass by. Welcome to November! Reminder that this weekend is daylight savings and we turn our clocks back an hour.
We had a great trip to the playhouse this week. The students really enjoyed the presentation of Robinson Crusoe and Friday. I hope they shared the story with you.
A few reminders:
School Clothing Order- On Thursday, November 1 we sent home order forms for school clothing orders. This is completely optional. You can use schoolcashonline to pay, but we ask that all order forms please be returned to the school. Orders are due back by November 15th.
Report Cards- Report cards for term one will be sent home on Tuesday, November 20. There are links posted on our website that offer information about the report cards, and assessment and evaluation. Parent teacher interviews will follow on Thursday, November 22nd in the evening and on Friday, November 23rd in the morning. We encourage all parents to attend and meet and talk with your child's teacher and to learn about your child's academic progress.
Clothing Exchange- Reminder that we will be looking for winter clothing donations. We will begin collecting items here at the school starting on November 13th to November 21st. During that time you can drop off your clean and in good condition items to be donated. During Parent Teacher interview days the clothing will be out in the gymnasium for families to browse through and take as needed.
Remembrance Day Ceremony- On Thursday, November 8th at 1pm we will be having our Remembrance Day Ceremony. Any students involved in Guides, Cubs, Sparks, etc. are invited to wear their uniform on that day. Parents are also invited to join us, if you wish. Please notify your child's classroom teacher by Wednesday, November 7th if you plan to attend and we will be sure to have seats available for you.
Picture Re-take Orders- Picture retake order forms are due back on Thursday, November 8th.

Wednesday, Nov. 7-
Thursday, Nov. 8- Hot lunch Great Canadian Bagel. Remembrance Day Ceremony at 1pm.
Friday, Nov. 9- No school for students. PL day for teachers,

November 23- Parent- Teacher Interviews 8-12pm
