​Pizza Days - Thursday, September 26th and Friday, September 27th

We are offering Pizza Days again this week as our cafeteria is not yet open. Teachers will be sending home order forms that must be returned, with payment, by Tuesday, September 24th. Pizza is $2/slice and only cheese pizza is being ordered.

Cross Country for Grades 3-5 - September 25th - this week you are running at McAdam Avenue. Please remember to return your permission slips to Mrs. Stickles or Mr. Lim.

Important Notice for Parents, Guardians and Visitors to GNMES - September 26th! 

Starting Thursday, September 26th, the student drop-off /pick- up loop and bus drop-off loop are switching places. Parents will now drop off where the busses used to be. It will still have a restricted area used exclusively for fire truck access to the hydrant but it should be better for parent drivers. Signs have been placed to clearly identify the No Parking/ No Stopping area. The zone has been painted to clearly mark the area and this fire lane cannot have any vehicles parked at any time.
Thank you for assisting us with this important change as it is a matter of safety. The fire trucks must be able to quickly access the main school area and the portables in the event of an emergency.​

​Toonies for Terry - Friday, September 27th on the GNMES track​

Students are encouraged to donate a "Toonie for Terry" and all monies raised through the event will be forwarded to the Terry Fox Foundation to further the cause of cancer research.
