School Communication

Dear Parents, Guardians and Care-Givers:

Oromocto High School is committed to the safety and security of all our students and staff..

Where there is an issue we want to clearly communicate with you to provide as much information and clarity as possible.

At lunch time today, school administration became aware of a threat that required law enforcement involvement, and as a result, a decision was made to postpone our school’s Remembrance Day ceremony until a later date.

After a preliminary investigation by the RCMP it was determined that the threat was no longer impacting the school and school resumed for the afternoon with classes continuing as usual. The matter remains under investigation.

We understand situations such as this are concerning to parents, students, staff and the greater community.

We want to assure you that the administration of Oromocto High School remain vigilant in our efforts to maintain a safe and positive learning environment.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call the school at 357-4015.
