LHHS PROM CLOTHING INFORMATION

SAFE GRAD BASKET FUNDRAISER

Hello everyone, tickets sales for the LHHS Safe Grad extravaganza basket have started (see info about the basket below)! Tickets have been sent home with the grads interested in participating in sales. For those parents whose children haven’t brought them home or have run out, the student can see Mrs. Holyoke Walsh in D-216 to pick them up. Tickets are being sold for $5 each, or 3 for $10 (buy two, get one free). The final day for tickets to be submitted will be Tuesday May 22nd. The winner will be drawn and contacted the following day, Wednesday May 23rd.

 

This basket is valued at over $1000, containing anything you can think of: coffee, treats, jewelry, self-care, home decor, gift certificates, candles, clothing and more- all locally made! Some of these items include a Ron Léger original watercolour painting valued at $300, a Capital Dental teeth whitening package valued at $350, and a Sweet Suds Bath Bakery bundle valued at over $100. ​

Leo Hayes High School Spring Dance:

When: TONIGHT! May 18, 7:00-9:30.

Where: LHHS Cafeteria, students will enter at the Music room entrance by the student parking lot. Bring your student ID.

Who: Everyone that has purchased a ticket. Please bring your ticket receipt and/or student ID.

All school behaviour expectations apply to this school event and we are looking forward to a fun evening!

Safe Grad has put together an Extravaganza Basket full of products from over 20 local businesses, and you have the chance to win it! This basket is valued at over $1000, containing anything you can think of: coffee, treats, jewelry, self-care, home decor, gift certificates, candles, clothing and more- all locally made! Tickets will be available on cashless schools and will also be sent home with Grads on the 1st of May. They will be sold for $5 each, or 3 for $10. Sales will close on Sunday May 14th at midnight on cashless schools, and the deadline for submission of physical tickets will be Monday the 15th of May. The winner will be drawn and contacted on Wednesday, May 17th. We thank you in advance for your support of our Grads, this fundraiser helps us make Safe Grad possible!​

Parent Teacher Interviews

How to book a Parent-Teacher Interview at Leo Hayes High School.

  1. Select the session you would like to attend:
    • Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. These sessions are occurring in-person at Leo Hayes High School.
    • Friday, April 14, 2023 from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM. These sessions are occurring virtually.  
  1. Use the drop-down menu to select the teacher you would like to meet with.
  2. Select an available timeslot. Each timeslot is 10 minutes in length with an additional 5 minutes between each meeting. 
  3. Enter your name (first and last), email address, and your student's name (first and last).
  4. Submit your booking by clicking on "Book". 
    • You should receive a confirmation email. 
    • If you are booking a virtual conference on Thursday morning, you will need this confirmation email as it contains the Microsoft Teams link for the meeting. You are not required to have a Microsoft account to book/attend the virtual meeting. 
  1. Please repeat the process for each teacher you would like to schedule an appointment with. 

If you are unable to attend the Parent-Teacher interviews at these times, please contact your student's teacher(s) to schedule a time that is mutually convenient.

GRAD DINNER 2023

Parents of Potential Grads:

An important reminder that Grad Dinner is quickly approaching and will take place on Thursday, April 27th. Tickets are available now until April 19th on Cashless Schools and in person April 13th-20th. Please note that no tickets can be sold after the 20th once our food order is placed.

The cost is $15.

All students attending Grad Dinner must see Ms. Benjamin in the cafeteria at lunch between April 13th and 20th to sign-up to sit at a table of four and to get their physical ticket.

Additionally, we still need a number of parent volunteers for set up and tear down of the event. There are two shifts, 1:30-3:30 for set up and 6:50-7:30 for tear down/clean up. Please email nancy.benjamin@nbed.nb.ca to volunteer.​
