​Memo for Garden Creek Parents and Guardians

Good afternoon Creeker Families:

Covid / Cold Symptoms: We have a number of students who are experiencing COVID and cold  symptoms at this time which  can be quite similar.  Although you may think to yourself that it is just a cold, please follow through on the protocol needed at this time for COVID as stated by Public Health. . Please carefully read through the third attachment which outlines various protocols to follow around 1 symptom versus 2  and around test results and next steps.

Masks – the second attachment gives very good information around mask wearing and caring for your child’s mask at school.

Music Making!  Ms. Diaz,  would like to ensure fun and learning while ensuring sanitized instruments during music class. To this end, please see the attached letter. She would like students to make their own  music makers and bring them to school in the coming weeks.

Terry Fox Walk this Friday – as mentioned, this Friday our classes will be walking the parameter of the school boundaries in memory of Terry Fox. They are welcome to send in a $2 as a donation and wear a hat on that day.  Physical distancing between classes will be followed by the teachers throughout the day.

Student Fees – Student fees are due this Friday on Cashless schools. Thank you!
