Memo for Garden Creek Parents and Guardians​

Good morning, Creeker Families,

Well here we are.. the last week of school is upon us. I wish to thank all our parents and volunteers for your support over the year and for the conversations and suggestions you have brought our way. We look forward to another year of learning and fun in the coming Fall.  For those families moving on to other schools or cities, we wish you all the best!

Notes for you:

Drama Production – Congratulations to the cast and staff organizers of The Little Mermaid – it was fantastic!! It also raised almost $1000.00 which will go back into the funds for the following year. Thank you to all for your generosity AND talented children!

Creeker Family Picnic – That is tomorrow, Tuesday, from 12 – 1! !!  Please remember to bring something to sit on and your own beverages. School colours or Creeker clothing is encouraged! Don’t forget to check out our outdoor learning space around back – the garden is beautiful and the students and staff are so proud of their work!   A reminder to please remember to check with the teacher and sign out your child if you are taking them after the picnic – but we really would encourage them to stay at school of course!

Yearbooks – We have received emails in regard to buying more yearbooks. Please direct your inquiry to Harvey Studios as they will complete any further orders.

Achievement Reports –  Achievement reports go out this Friday. If for some reason you cannot pick up your child’s report card by next Tuesday, the 25^th, please send in a self-addressed stamped envelope and we will mail it to you.  The achievement reports will also contain the supply list for the following year ( and it will be posted on the website) .

Library Books and other School Resources  –please check around your house for any books or resources that may belong to the school and send them in with your child this week.

Quartermain Science Cafe  - there is a free hands on learning exhibit through Quartermain Science at UNB being offered this summer – what a great way to keep students engaged in learning! Please go to http://www.quartermainearthsciencecentre.com  for more info

-        Wednesday  – Kindergarten Celebration! (  10:45 AM) / K-2 Fun Day Raindate 

-        Thursday - Grade 5 Celebration  9 :00 – 10:30 AM / Grade 3-5 Talent Show  10:45 – 11:45    

            Friday  – LAST DAY! Full Day 

                                                  AND… after those hazy, lazy days of summer…

First Day back for students for the 2019 – 2020 school year…. Tuesday September 3^rd!
