We hope that last week found you safe with the messy weather. We are back on track at school with a few updates:

Autism Course offered to parents through the Department of EECD : parents/guardians will now have access to autism training online.  Please see the attachment.  Registrations are open until January 31, 2019 and are to be done directly through EECD website. Hot Lunch Updates:  *Since school was cancelled last Jan 24^th, Chartwells will be issuing credits to the accounts of parents who ordered lunch for that day.

                                      *Our special Lunar New Year hot lunch ( Mon. Feb 4^th)  deadline to order is Wed. Jan 30^th. ( please order online)

                                      * New Tuesday Bagel hot lunch order deadline is Wed Jan 30th.  

First Aid Course – Cheyenne Dickinson is organizing a First Aid Course – it has been moved to Sunday Feb 3^th from 8:30 – 4:30. The cost is $85 and will be at our school. There are 8 spots left. If you are interested, please email her at cclawrie@yahoo.ca

Lego requested!  M. Levesque and Mr. Burnett are requesting any lego you may have kicking around that you would like to donate to the school. They will use it for future Lego clubs. Thanks for any help around this!

Movie Night this Friday! A reminder that we have our second movie night at the Creek! Showing: The Incredibles II. Doors open at 6:15 with donations at the door accepted for the Home and School.  Students should have  something to sit on for the gym floor. Also, a reminder to parents that  everyone needs to remove their boots so consider having something else to put on to keep those tootsies warm. There will also be treats for sale at the back of the gym.  Thanks for your support!

Mon Feb 4^th – TNB production Hansel and Gretel 9:00 AM / Lunar New Year Hot Lunch Special / Lego Robotics after school program starts

Week of February 1oth – STAFF appreciation week!

Tues. Feb 12 – Grade 3-5s skating in the morning ( 9:15 – 10:15 M)

Wed Feb 13^th – District  Chess Tournament for grades 3-5 coordinated through Mrs. Doyle – select students

Thurs Feb 14^th – Valentine’s Day!

Tues Feb 19^th – Home and School Meeting 6:30 pm

Fri Feb 22^nd – Black History Month Presentation to grades 3-5 by the Multicultural Association
