​Memo for Garden Creek Parents and Guardians

Good morning Creeker Families,

 We have 3 weeks left until the holidays... Ho Ho Ho.. still lots of learning to go!

 Christmas Bazaar – WOW! What another amazing event at our school and a great kick off to Christmas !  The tentative tally of funds raised is within ten thousand dollars. A final amount will come after our treasurer does his thing. Thank you to all our parents for your donations of items, baked goods, time and money to make this event so successful! Our playground will certainly be on its way thanks to this support. Merry Christmas!

 Poinsettias and Wreaths –We still have a few of these left by the library.  If you did not receive yours or pick it up, please drop by the office.

 Hour of Code – a few of our classes are participating in Hour of Code this week and it might just be a dance party theme – code away, dancers!

 Milk Orders – please see the attachment to learn about the next round of milk orders. Deadline for this is this Friday, December 7^th. The last day for milk this term is the 20^th.   There will no milk served on Friday, the 21^st.

Angel Tree - Creekers Helping Creekers – Once again this year, thanks to Mme. Cairns and her elves, we have an an angel tree set up in front of the office. You are welcome to pick an angel from the tree and send in the item that is written on that angel to support a family in need this Christmas. Items are due by December 13th.  We are again welcoming monetary donations ( we can issue tax receipts I believe, for donations over $25 if you request it). Thank you for making Christmas bright!! 

Chapter's Night! A reminder that tomorrow night is our Chapter's night fundraiser from 6 - 9 pm.  Our choir will be performing at 6:00 pm  . Tell your friends and family to come out and enjoy both the music and shopping and add it to your facebook if you want! 15% of all proceeds go to our school for our playground!
