Week of May 14, 2019

​The new homework sheet has been posted to the documents section of the teacher page. Some things of note:

The grade 3-5 Track & Field event will be May 22nd at FHS.

In Math we have finished up Fractions and have begun Measurement.

In Science we will be finishing up plants and beginning soil.

There are no new words of the week this week.​

Bear Witness in the News

Bear Witness Day

​Thursday, students will be walking to Government House to attend the opening ceremonies of Bear Witness Day. We will be leaving school around 10:00 am and returning​ to school on foot for lunch once the ceremony is concluded.

Friday morning, students will bussed to Government House to visit the Bear Witness display and participate in different activities relating to First Nations culture.

Students have worked very hard over the past few months on this project. The bears will be on display for the next month and you are invited to go and visit the display.

Snapshot Folders

​Snapshot Folders went home today. Please take a look at the contents with your child. Since this is the last month for Snapshot Folders, there is no need to return the contents or the folder. You will find inside:

- math test on multiplication & division

- math word problem written by your child

- science quiz

- art sample

- English reading comphrension

A note went home on the homework sheet about sending in a bear for our English project. We need the bears at school by April 23rd.

Just a reminder that we will be walking to UNB on Thursday for Powwow. Please make sure your child dresses appropriately for the cold, wet walk.

Pajama Day!

Monday, April 1st will be a pajama day! Students have earned their reward for speaking in French in cla​ss. Bravo!!​
