Congratulations to Kindergarten student Olivia Lennon from Glen Falls School, winner of this year's Holiday Season Card Design Challenge!
ASD-S received an overwhelming number of submissions for the yearly seasonal Design Challenge! K-5 students from across the district submitted their
winter artwork, which was carefully viewed and considered. A
shortlist of 10 finalists was established and SJEC Office Staff voted for their favourite design.
was voted the winner out of the many excellent submissions and her design has been professionally printed as the District’s official holiday card.
A second winning design, which will be announced at a later date, will be chosen for the holiday card of the New Brunswick Office of the Child and Youth Advocate.
Congratulations to Olivia, and a big thank you
to all students who submitted their artwork for consideration. All submissions
will be returned to the student artists, who are encouraged to participate
again in future years.
Next year the challenge will seek submissions from
middle school (2019-20), then high school the following year (2020-21),
before returning to elementary (2021-22).
