The Anglophone South School District, is pleased to announce our  Turnaround Achievement Awards Ceremony.  This program recognizes students in Grades 6-12 who have demonstrated perseverance, commitment and effort in “turning around” their lives. Each middle and high school as well as  alternate education centers have been asked to nominate one or two students who have shown great efforts in “turning around” some aspect of their lives – behavior, attitude, academics.

This initiative further enhances the work being done in the Anglophone South School District to promote a positive and safe learning environment for students, a priority of our District Education Council.  Through a celebration of the positive efforts of students, this award will model the importance of determination and persistence.

At this event, each student will be individually introduced and presented with an engraved plaque provided by our community partners.  Family members, as well as local Mayors, MLA's, MP’s, District Education Council Committee members and school district personnel will be joining us for this celebration.
