Vape-free Schools Campaign

Anglophone South School District is committed to the wellbeing of our students and this fall we are launching our Vape-Free Schools campaign for middle and high school students.

Schools will be educating students and families about the risks of vaping and sharing our Vape-Free Schools messaging throughout the year. Consistent consequences for those found vaping have been developed and will be applied across all high schools, and no-vaping signage will be installed in high school restrooms. This signage will also be displayed in our buses and at the entrances to all schools in the district. This is to serve as a reminder to students and guests from the community that our schools are smoke and vape-free environments.

Please see the letters for families from Superintendent Zoë Watson with more information on this important initiative, below, and listen to her recent interview with CBC Information Morning: https://www.cbc.ca/listen/live-radio/1-28-information-morning-saint-john/clip/15733629-south-district-schools-preparing-to-take-on-vaping
