Guidance -Today St. Mary’s will be here over lunch and then present to interested students in Period 4.  University of Calgary will be here on Thursday, Period 3. Please sign up in the Guidance Centre and don’t forget to get permission from your Period 3 teacher.

Blue Crew - Attention all Blue Crew members! It’s almost time to deck the KVHS halls and start spreading holiday cheer. There will be a short meeting on Thursday at the beginning of lunch in the theatre to discuss our upcoming events in December. At this meeting, you can also pick up your t-shirt if you haven’t already!

Boardgame Club – Meeting today at lunch time in Mr. Gilbert’s room, Room 230.  Come play some games from the large collection on-hand.

Christmas Family Fundraiser - Mrs. McIntyre's Advisory is selling tickets on a Millennium Drive Lunch Pack this week for $2 a ticket.  What's a Millennium Drive Lunch Pack?  It's 5 $10 gift cards to the most popular lunch spots on Millennium Drive:  McDonalds, Second Cup, Circle K, Subway and Tim Horton's.  Tickets are on sale Wednesday, and Thursday this week at lunch.  The draw is Friday morning at announcements!  Don't miss out!  All funds raised support a local family in need this holiday season.  Special bonus: today we also have homemade frosted sugar cookies for sale!  See you at lunch in the lobby! 

CyberMath -There will be an interest meeting Today at lunch in Room 246 for any students interested in competing in the CyberMath Online Open Tournament.  This competition is open to all students, regardless of math ability.  The contest will take place over 3 Sundays in February ad March, with top performers earning their way into the next week.  There are even gift card prizes for those who finish top 10.

KV Philanthropy Club - For the next few weeks, the KV Philanthropy Club will be hosting a school wide toiletry drive.  Bring in toothbrushes, floss, shampoo, conditioner, menstrual products or any other household toiletry to your Advisory for a chance to win a sweet treat before the break.​
