ATTENTION GRADS!  Interested in ordering Grad jewelry?  Stop by Mrs. Wrights room, Room 136 to pick up a catalogue, ring sizer and to see how you design your own jewelry.  Students in Grade 11 – it is never too early to order your Grad Jewelry – see Mrs. Wright anytime for more information.
 
Renaissance will be selling “Kiss A Grad Goodbye’s” TODAY until Friday, May 14th.  These will be sold for 50 cents each at noon hour.  Send a sweet message of Congratulations to a graduate!
 
Could all members of Renaissance please met on Thursday, May 13th at 12:30.  Students last names A – L will meet in Mrs. Wright’s room, Room 136.  Last names M – Z will meet via Teams.   New members are always welcome!
 
The Music Department will be hosting an outdoor concert on Tuesday, May 25.  If you are interested in performing, please see Ms. Palmer.  Space is limited so please touch base with Ms. Palmer ASAP if you would like to perform.
 
Provincial French Oratorical Competition – Congratulations to all the participants in the French Oratorical Competition.  The Winners are - Grade 10 Early French Immersion:  Isaac Hierlihy – Third Place.  Grade 11 Early French Immersion – Maria Kim first place.  Grade 12 Early French Immersion – Andrew Bachynsky – first place.
 
Two KVHS Students Qualify for Canadian Geographic Challenge National Final
Congratulations to our Canadian Geographic Challenge school winners Logan Hennessey and Eli Nason who both reached the top 20 in Canada in their respective divisions.   
Logan Hennessey first won our grade 11 and 12 school competition in February, then wrote the National Qualification test.  He scored one of the top 20 results and had the opportunity to participate in the online National Final exam. 
Eli Nason won our grade 9 and 10 school competition in April and then wrote the junior National Qualification test. He also scored one of the top 20 results in his division and will now move on to the Grade 9 and 10 National Final on May 29th.   
Both students will receive a prize package.   Congratulations to Eli and Logan for being part of our most successful Canadian Geographic Challenge year ever!   
 
Attention Reach for the Top Players - Grade 9 and 10 players practice in room 114 at lunch.  Seniors practice in room 228 at lunch and after school.
