Sussex Bus Drivers Promote Cozy Coats to Help Kids Get Through Winter

Cozy Coats was started by Karla Kilpatrick in 2013 to make sure children didn't have to stand shivering in the cold unnecessarily. McLean and other Sussex area school bus drivers , Shawney McLean, & Cathy Pascoe jumped on board with the idea and it's been a success ever since. They are accepting all types of winter attire , not just coats. Items can be dropped off at any of the three schools in Sussex as well as Apohaqui Elementary School, Norton ELementary School and Sussex Corner Elementary School. ALl items must be dropped off by November 13th. The items will all be cleaned and be available for pickup at Sussex Elementary on Nov. 21st from 9am-2pm. For more information contact Kilpatrick at 432-6887, McLean at 433-6284 or Pascoe at 432-5290. The best time to call is in the eveing.
