​We would like to celebrate our Student Leadership team at SGES. During the month of May, our Grade 6 students worked in partnership with the Practical Nursing students from NBCC to plan and organize a health fair for the K-5 students at our school that took place on the morning of May 27th. This year's theme was positive self image and topics/stations ranged from stress reduction, anti-bullying, pay it forward, to being you-nique. It was a hugely successful event for all involved. We are very proud of the relationships forged with students from the middle level and the community college, as well as the maturity and leadership our grade 6 students brought to the table. It was a truly wonderful experience highlighting the importance of balance and self care for all ages.
