QUALIFICATIONS:Graduation from high school, or GED, and experience at the semi-skilled level in the building, electrical and mechanical trades; or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Canadian Playground Certification would be an asset.
DEFINITION:
This is semi-skilled maintenance and repair work in the building, mechanical and electrical trades. Work includes performing building maintenance jobs of a routine nature. Employees of this class are supervised by a designated superior who assigns work according to employee competence. Performance is reviewed by a designated superior through discussions, observations, inspections, reports and overall results achieved for conformance with established standards.
