GUIDANCE:
If you are between the ages of 14 – 17 and would like to travel to Ottawa for a fun filled week of Learning and Culture, then you are the perfect person to attend Encounters with Canada. If you are interested, please send your name to Mrs. Price in Guidance.
DANCE:
Attention all Dancers! Tryouts for the KVHS dance team will be Friday, September 20th right after school. Be there or be square!
GRADUATES:
This is a message for all Grade 12’s… Your first Grad Class Event is right around the corner! On Monday, September 23rd we will be having our Grad Class Amazing Race at Meenan’s Cove Beach after school. Come out to compete in teams against your friends and then enjoy a corn boil and barbeque after. Tickets are $6.00 and will be sold at lunch until Friday. Don’t have a ride there?? No worries! A bus will be running from the school to the beach to make sure everyone has a ride there. Hope to see you there!

FALL PLAY:
Attention cast of Night Watch: today's rehearsal after school is for anyone in the second half of act one, scene one, pages 13-24. Tomorrow after school we will run all of act one, scene one.

ART PROJECT:
There will be a very short meeting at lunch on Friday, September 20th in Ms. Nicholson’s Art Room for those interested in the special Art Project.
PEER TUTORING:
Peer Tutoring today at lunch in Mrs. Butler’s class, Room 132.
SPORTS:
Varsity Field Hockey: Emma Taylor lead the scoring with a hot trick last night and Grace MacLean, Rachel Reid, and Olivia Scott each added on as the Varsity Field Hockey team defeated Oromocto 6 – 0. Kate Griffin recorded her fourth straight shut out.
Congrats to the Cross Country Team on their performance at the SJTC Invitational last night. Congrats to Cameron Harris on finishing first in the Senior Boy’s division. Way to go Team!!
Boy’s Hockey try out fee must be paid using Cashless Schools by Friday, September 20th.
Girl’s Hockey – All females wishing to try out for the Hockey team must see Mrs. Taylor in Room 134 to get forms and then return them completed. ASAP
Swim Team is looking for Lifeguards. If you have the required training and are interested in making a few extra dollars, please see Mr. Rice.
