​ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SEPTEMBER 13^th

Are you interested in running a business, making new friends, or have a passion for entrepreneurial learning?  Junior Achievement is a 19 week program that gives sutdents just like you, from Grades 9 through 12, this opportunity free of charge.  In fact, at the end of the program, you will receive a cheque for all your hard work!  We meet every Tuesday night from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 pm here at Kennebecasis Valley High and St. Malachy’s, if interested, be sure to sign up at www.janewbrunswick.ca/register as spaces are limited

GRADUATES:

Sign Up Sheets are in the office for Grad Photos.  The first sittings will be on October 2, 3, and 4^th.  Please sign up soon.

SPORTS:

Anyone trying out for the KVHS hockey teams, need to make sure the KVHS Participation forms as well as the Hockey NB Waiver forms are filled out properly and returned to their respective coaches before stepping on the ice.  These forms are available at the Office or from Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Aasen-Haines.

Varsity Field Hockey players are asked to come to the Cafeteria following announcements for a short meeting.

Boy’s Hockey try outs forms can be picked up in the Crusader Centre.  See Mrs. Aasen-Haines  - deadline is September 18th

Anyone interested in joining the Swim Team this year is asked to attend a meeting in Room 274 at lunch on Wednesday September 18^th.

Attention Badminton Enthusiasts!!! KV now has a Badminton Club.  They play Mondays and Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 3:00 p.m.  All you need to do is show up for those times.

CLUBS:

ART:

For any students who would be interested in participating in a unique art project, come to a meeting at 12:30 in Ms. Nicholson’s Art Room on Monday.  A background in Graphic Art would be very useful but not necessary.

CHOIR:

Attention Blue Tones members: our first rehearsal will be Monday after school in the rehearsal room from 3:45-5:00. This is a rehearsal for old and new members. If you are interested in joining but were unable to attend the meeting, please come along to Monday's rehearsal.

FALL PLAY:

Attention cast of Night Watch: there will be a short meeting Friday at 3:30 in Mr. Sutton's room, room 122. If you cannot stay for 10 minutes after school, please see Mr. Sutton earlier in the day.
