This is a message from Mrs. Blanchard, Principal at Hampton Elementary School with your weekly edition of the H.E.S. Hawk Squawk.
 
March is nutrition month and we will be sharing tips from the newly updated Canada’s Food Guide. We will also be observing for students eating fruits and vegetables. These students who are “caught” will receive a ballot of recognition.
 
Special Assembly: We will host an assembly on Thursday at 1:35pm for all students with a very special announcement for our playground with MP Fundy Royal, Alana Lockhart.
 
Home and School: The H&S meets Thursday evening at 6:30 PM in the library.
 
Poley Ski Program update: (from Ms. Adair-Thompson) We are not skiing March 1 or 8. Our last night is scheduled for March 15. If for some reason we don’t get out on March 15 we will still have the chance to ski 1 last time weather permitting day, TBA. If parents are interested in having a pizza celebration at the end of the session on March 15, please advise Joan. The cost would be 5.00 for two slices and a drink.  I would need to have the orders from each family by Tuesday March 12.
