​Volleyball

·         The JV Boys Volleyball Team were sadly defeated 3 sets to 1 in the JV Boys District Championship Game by QMS.  It was a very successful season for our JV Boys, along with all our other Volleyball Teams this season!  It was great to see Volleyball back at HMS after such a long lay-off!  Congratulations to all the players on your effort and to your commitment of HMS Athletics!  Also, a big thank you to all the coaches and officials who made it possible for your games to happen!

Other Sports:

·         Flag Football Team list has been posted by the gymnasium, please have a look, and if you have made the team see Mr. Throop for a Flag Football Information form that will need to go home to your parents.  Practice on Wednesday and Thursday after school.

·         Badminton Team Members should also see Mr. Throop today to receive their Information/Permission forms that will need to go home and be returned to Mr. Throop before the Tournament on June 1^st.

·         The Gym will be opened after school today until 4:00 PM for any Badminton team members who would like to practice.

·         Track & Field - At noon today during grade level gym time there will be Track & Field Shotput and district tryouts taking place on the back field closest to the HMS patio!  If you made the commitment to tryout for this event, or if you have changed your mind over the weekend and now want to tryout for this event, please find Mr. Throop out back and go throw those objects as far as you can!  Good Luck to all of those who are trying out!!

·         Hampton Minor Soccer - is looking for some Under 15 Soccer players who may be interested in playing summer soccer.  The team with girls born in 2007 and 2008 is short a few players for the team and cannot run if they do not find a few more players.  If you are interested, please have your parents visiting Hamptonscoccer.ca or have a look at the Hampton Soccer Club’s Facebook page.  If anyone has any questions regarding this, they can also see Mr. Throop for more information.
