If you are
interested in being nominated to be the school representative for the Schulich Leader Scholarship, please submit a letter of intent and a resume to the guidance
department by Friday, December 14th. The Schulich Leader Scholarship is for students pursuing
a degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering, math). 12/14

Any Students
interested in attending Queen’s University to study Commerce should check out the D & R Sobey Atlantic Admission Award posted in the Guidance Centre.

The New Brunswick Teen Apprentice Program is now accepting applications for the 2019 Summer Work Term.
Qualifying students in Grade 10 or 11 will be reached and mentored on the job
over two or three paid summer work terms. NB TAP student apprentices will learn
practical trade and workplace skills and get a head start on an exciting career
in the skilled trades. If you are interested in this exciting opportunity
please see Mrs. Levesque in Guidance.

Attention all
Crusaders! There are now more cab tickets available for purchase for $10. You need your student ID to
purchase a ticket and you can get them from Mrs. Hawkes in the library. Your ID
will be required at the door in order to get in.

Do you have
hidden musical talent? Have you been looking for a way to show it off? If
so, go see Mrs. Lanigan in room 115 to get information on performing at the
Christmas Crusader celebration!

Attention all
students who are called back for Musical Auditions: the song for female roles will be rehearsed Wednesday at 12:30 in the rehearsal room; the song for male roles will be rehearsed Thursday at 12:30 in the rehearsal
room.

The KVHS Music Department presents their annual Christmas Concert on Wednesday, December 12 at 7pm in the theatre. All staff and students are invited to come see this exciting event. . The concert features talented students in the KVHS Blue Tones, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Music 112 class
and Dance team. Admission is by donation. Don’t miss out!

Attention Blue Tones Members: Tomorrow’s rehearsal will be from 3:45 –
5:00. This will give you a chance to go home and change for the Christmas Concert at 7:00.

Me to We Club: This is a very important reminder to all Me to We members, remember to bring in any items
you are responsible for for the Advisory Breakfast for Mrs. Levesque’s
Advisory tomorrow morning. Also, don’t forget to meet at 8:20 a.m.

Attention all
grads! Book off December 19th for the Grad Class Christmas Party! This runs right after school from 4-5:30pm and admission is a gift
valued at $5 for a yankee swap. There will be fun games
like charades and nog pong along with a movie and
cookie decorating. Hope to see everyone there!!

CLUBS – TEAMS

The Boys Hockey Team plays Saint John High tonight at the QPlex, 8:15. Come Cheer them on!

Attention Debaters, Debate team will meet at noon in room 414.
·
The Reach for
the Top team will be travelling to Ottawa in February. Any new or returning
players who would like to go to Ottawa are invited to an info meeting today at 12:30 in room 228.
Junior practice will follow. All players practice after school.
